How do we get an account?
You can create an account yourself, or contact us and we will set up your organization, agree pricing and help you register a sender ID. Your team then signs in at kainetgen.com/bulk-sms/login.
How does pricing work?
The platform uses prepaid SMS credits. Credits are reserved when you send and refunded for messages that are not sent. Your balance and a full transaction history are always visible in the dashboard. Talk to us for current rates.
How many characters fit in one SMS?
A standard (GSM-7) message holds 160 characters, or 153 per part when a message is split. Messages containing characters outside that set, such as many emoji, use Unicode: 70 characters, or 67 per part. The editor shows the encoding, segment count and credit cost as you type.
What is a sender ID?
It is the name recipients see as the sender, such as your organization’s name. Requested sender IDs are reviewed before they can be used.
What happens when someone replies STOP?
The number is added to your opt-out list and is automatically excluded from future sends. Opted-out numbers are counted separately when you review a campaign.
Can we see what was delivered?
Yes. The sending report lists every batch handed to the SMS network, what was sent and not sent, and the reason. Message statuses update as the network reports them, and you can download a per-message report in Excel or CSV.
Can we send from our own software?
Yes, through the REST API. Create a scoped API key in the dashboard and send single or bulk messages from your systems. See the API
